Historical Hawaii Dinner Cruise
The Body Glove Cruise vessel becomes a time-machine as you step on board and travel back to ancient days preceding the time King Kamehameha unified all the Hawaiian Islands in 1810. Enjoy over fifty historical sites and points of interest while sailing twelve miles down the Kona Coast. The lavish three hour dinner cruise sails to Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook’s monument located on the Kona Coast. Kealakekua Bay was inhabited over a thousand years ago. This area is surrounded with several archeological and historical sites including ancient temples of worship. The bay is also famous for the location where Captain James Cook, in 1778, first landed in Hawaii. In 1779 Captain Cook was stabbed to death in a fight during his third voyage to the Hawaiian Islands. A monument was erected and stands marking the
approximate spot where Cook was murdered. The Body Glove Cruise local historian will reveal the details of the ancient events that occurred during this time taking you back over a hundred years using your imagination. After the historical tour in Kealakikua Bay, a Hawaiian style buffet dinner will be served while you enjoy the beautiful sunset and live entertainment. The dinner includes one complimentary cocktail. The menu includes pork and taro Lau Lau’s
steamed in ti leaves, lomi lomi salmon, grilled pulehu chicken, teriyaki beef
kabobs, Caesar salad, steamed rice with furikake and shoyu, punalu’u guava
dinner rolls and butter, seasonal fruit sponge cake with coconut, assorted teas
and Kona coffee. Book your Hawaii Dinner
Cruises with Hawaii Travel Network.
Dolphin and Snorkeling Cruise
Spinner dolphins often glide alongside the
Body Glove Cruise boat as it sails to Turtle Heaven, Dolphin Cove, Fantasy Reef, and Red Hill, the homes to more than six hundred species of colorful and exotic ocean wildlife. The only way to reach this sparkling clear water for the most exciting dolphin and snorkel adventure on all of the Hawaiian Islands is by boat. Jump in, the water is warm, or make a big splash with our 15 ft. water slide! Enjoy swimming in the warm tropical water with the chance of having a Spinner dolphin join you. Experience snorkeling, scuba diving, or Hookah diving, in the captivating coral reef
gardens. Body Glove Cruise will provide all the equipment needed for the first time or avid snorkelers. For beginners a trained lifeguard from our crew will provide instructions on how to use the snorkeling equipment. On our return trip sit back and relax as you take in the beauty and enjoy the experience you just had with the underwater paradise in Hawaii.
Whale Watching Tour
Humpback whales begin their migration to the Hawaiian Islands in December and leave in April. During this time more than 8,000 Humpback whales travel over 3,500 miles to breed, birth, and nurse their young in the warm waters of Hawaii. Schedule the most popular two and a half hour Whale Watching Tour on the Big Island and the perfect vessel
for this Hawaii Tour is the Kona II. Our
sixty-five foot catamaran has comfortable seating, plenty of walking room, and
large shaded areas. You are guaranteed a whale sighting or you will be invited
to return and go for free. During the Whale Watching Tour, a marine naturalist
tour guide will share facts about the habits and behaviors of these gentle
giants. Learn how whales entertain, play, feed, and teach their young. Using
the underwater hydrophones you can hear the songs of the Humpback whales as
they glide past the Kona II. You may have the opportunity to see Pilot and
Sperm Whales, Spinner Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Manta Rays, and more. Sit back and
relax as you sip on island juices, Kona coffee, sodas, hot chocolate, assorted
teas, and our premium cash bar.
