You may see some drop-in visitors such as manta rays or a green sea turtle. Particularly be on the lookout for Hawaii’s state fish. It is a small fish with a very long name, the humuhumunukunukuapua'a. Can you imagine what it is like to have hundreds of vibrantly colored fish swim around you as you swim the crystal clear waters of the South Pacific? The excitement will continue when several dolphins swim around you during the exciting Ko Olina Adventures through Hawaii Travel Network. Hawaiians deeply value their ocean friends, the dolphins. The captain and crew will instruct you on how to honor and respect dolphins as you swim among these friendly and playful ocean mammals. You can successfully and passively view the behaviors of dolphins if you remember just a few rules. No touching, no disruptive behavior, and no loud noise. The best swimming position to observe dolphins during this Oahu Dolphin Watching tour is to assume a passive floating position. The longer you can stay in a floating position and hold perfectly still, the longer your dolphin encounter will last. With the visibility of the ocean waters so clear, you will be able to see several feet in front of you and experience a true Oahu Dolphin Watching adventure in the respectful Hawaiian traditional way. Schedule this fantastic Oahu Dolphin Watching and Oahu Snorkeling tours with Ko Olina Ocean Adventures through Hawaii Travel Network.
After the turtle excursion and dolphin encounter, Ko Olina Ocean Adventures continues the cruise with a bonus tour of watching for humpback whales (only from Dec. to Apr.).
